Tax compliance

One Stop Shop returns

Report cross-border EU consumer sales through a controlled OSS process.

01

Determine which sales belong in OSS

The Union One Stop Shop can cover certain cross-border sales and services to private customers in other EU countries. Transactions that belong in a Dutch or local VAT return must not simply be included in the same OSS report.

02

Reconcile sales by customer country and VAT rate

We connect webshop, platform, payment and accounting records. Customer location, supply, rate, returns and credit notes must remain traceable for each period. A platform’s contractual role can affect who accounts for VAT.

03

Keep OSS separate from ordinary VAT returns

We organise the quarterly report and payment and the supporting transaction records. Input VAT is not deducted through OSS. Stock held abroad or transactions outside the scheme may still create local obligations, so the different reporting streams must neither duplicate nor omit revenue.
